Hey Guys,
What would you suggest to mountg an old fashioned, external fuel pump, to reduce vibrations through the chassis? It is to be m,ounted on the frame next to the gas tank.

Hi Doc, I always backed up the bracket with rubber pads then bolded it to the chassis but made sure there was an adaquate flow of air around it.

Yeah. I wanted to use rubber pads of some sort but I was puzzled about the best way to do it. I thought I might bolt the bracket up against a piece of rubber mud flap and then bolt the flap to the frame with different bolt holes to reduce the vibration. I'm surprised there is no commercial set-up for this.

MIne is a Carter pump with the 3 rubber mounting grommets that mount to a 90 degree mount.
Then i put a rubber pad under the mounting bracket so it's insulated twice
