Hey,
I live in Rockland County, NY and I am wondering if anyone here knows of an auto shop who would hire me as an apprentice. The amount I get paid isn't really a concern for me. I am more concerned with the type of work I will be doing and what I will be taught. I am looking for a good shop that works on cars on a custom level. I am currently a first year up at RIT and I am having doubts about what I want to do in life. My father says that if I do want to go to a good auto repair/fabrication school where I can learn to weld, machine, do body work, etc.....I should try to become an apprentice for the summer and see if its truly what I want. If you are someone who might be able to help me out or know someone who could please let me know. I am willing to travel and have my own car. I am a hardworker with good leadership skills and I very willing to learn and take criticism. All I ask is that you give me a fair chance to prove my desire to learn.
