Is it just me, or are the rest of you getting calls every other day from Street Rodder Magazine asking if the subscription service and contents of the mag itself was still to your liking or what?

First time they called I told 'em I haven't subscribed in over a year (true).

Second time, I'm illiterate..

Third...I'm illiterate, blind, and have no arms nor hands to even be able to flip the pages.

Fourth and what I thought was final call they were sent to the Do Not Call list....

Fifth call today, STILL calling, I'm for all they know STILL blind, illiterate, and have no limbs from the waist up to even be able to flip the advertisement filled waste of paper. And they're on the Do Not Call list..yet still bugging me.

Why cant these fools leave it be....ya tell 'em once, that should be it! Who can we contact to complain, if it's not just me getting the constant calls?

Write them a letter about what kind of magazine you think they really have and about the idiots they have working for them, and if they print it it could be the best thing in that issue! I canceled my subscription, actually wish they would call me so I could tell them why, lol.

Please, keep restoring those cars to stock... So that someday my grandkids will still know what it feels like to cut one up and build a hot rod!

When the phone rings and it's a telemarketer we normally say "he died six months ago!! WHY won't you people just leave us alone!!!" normally that works.

I pulled a sick and twisted trick like that just after mom passed away (probably got myself a one way ticket to Hell for it too. LOL). One of her magazines kept calling..insisted they speak to her right away, she won something thru the mag. After telling them time and time again, the subscription was cancelled and that she had passed away, they kept calling. Finally I told 'em if they wanted to contact her that damn bad call or send the "YOU'VE WON" letters to her direct at this address or phone her at this number (cemetary address and plot # along with the offices phone #). Turns out they caught on after calling and finding out I gave 'em the cemetarys contact info. Next thing I know, the big wigs at the magazine sent appology letters and calls.

I allways and mean allways am real nice and say hold on i will go get the person they asking for. Than in about 10-15 seconds i will yell out there name at least one time. That makes em hang on a little longer. Love wasting there time. Somebody keeps sending me streetrodder for about the last 8 years and i dont pay. I payed for Greed Guys and got 4 issuies .... go figure. LOL Somebody has also been paying for Golf mag for me for about 5 years.....if you know me you sure as heck would not send me Golf Mag. LOL Sick joke i guess.

I canceled greed..er..Good Guys too, cause like you (and couple other people I know) I only got a few issues and never saw the rest. Hmmm, they're so small that maybe they fell behind something at the post office or got lost along the way, right? About the only thing I liked reading in it anyhow was Titus's articles. They made me laugh cause you could relate to them. Oh well.

Oh well at least i got my membership card and # 2 months after the only show i would have attended.(rainbeck 2002) At least it keeps me out of the midwest now. No Indy columbus and others. Only thing i ever got out of greed guys was having fun with Norm Grabass(someone you will never forget) and George Pottet.(sorry George i cant spell) Cool guys. Ok allmost forgot Johhny Walker was a pisser and not what he seems like on the net(in a good way) LOL

Three years ago I canceled also. The biggest reason I did was their rag was 90% about plastic cars. As everyone knows I don't believe in fake classics. No offense guys but I believe it it has been done don't do again..

I got 2 calls yesterday. My wife knows when each of my mags expire (a pet peeve) and told the first no thanks, the second got an ear full! These are sub-contractors, not the mags people. Most are based out of Omaha. Ask next time.
But one more and StreetRodder gets a call. I have to admitt, the price was great!
