NHRA Burlington was great.

Went to the show on Sat. about 2000 cars of beauty. Learned a lot about what to do and not use in interiors. Rodders are such a great bunch. Joe, with the 35 Chevy coupe, if your out there, thanks again for all the info. I am still wanting to meet some SRS members. Saw the 57' Stupidbaker last month at the West Springfield, MA show. Another great show.

Sounds like fun! Only thing wrong is its NSRA and its in VT! LMAOF I think lake george is in the middle there some place not a bad stop along with fort ticondiroga(sorry dont spell so well) cross on the ferry .Good sea food place at the landing ,i know its VT but they do have good sea food.
Slammin start savin up! Only 1500 reg cars and i doubt there were 1500 there at one time this year....my kind of place. Lots of room and only 20 bucks for the weekend...unlike Greed Guys.

Years back there was a great rod run held in Lake George tho at times it would get out of hand with burn-outs on Main St. cops didn't much car for it. The night cruising was FAB! One year, my family, Terry Cook and Jim Inglese cruised from the Lake George event thru the Berkshire mountains, (I ran out of gas in my 56 F-100 panel truck) just before a rise and what could have been a rolling down the other side into the gas station stituation. We cruised to the Ty-Rods 20th Annual reunion in Hudson, Mass. Now that's a a show of shows. Linited to 800 cars, held on a MONDAY and always filled to the max with VINTAGE HOT RODS!

Emil They still do the Lake George deal its either the week before rainbeck or real close to it. It got to be a real pain in the butt with the cops up there ,so we stopped going about 2 years ago. About 30 of us used to go...was a real blast and actually were we meet the guy that was starting the syracuse nats. I would not even reg for that one....they only have the hotel grounds and than the streets at nite. It was a nice mix of pro street , classics, hot rods, street racers. Nice area also.

I'll commit, a year early. That WOULD BE ONE HECK OF A WEEK! Gotta leave the little lady home though, it's just not the same. I agree, I don't care who sanctions the show, getting there, and hanging out is the fun of it for me. Seeing lots of hot rods is a bonus.

Hey guys, If your serious, stop in to my place in SW NH and I will put together a bbq. I have plenty of room, and who knows, my 31' Tudor might just need interior by then. Rick
