I can pick up a complete Corvette IRS (hub to hub) real cheap. i was thinking of putting it in my '29.Right now i have a 9" in it. Has anyone here done this About how much will I have to narrow it?and does narrowing it change the geometry of it? Or is it to much work for what it's worth? i mean for $150 i thinks worth it, should I just buy it and hold on to it for a different project or try to install it in my '29 Model A?

For $150.00 bucks buy it and hold it. A few things you might want to think about. First, you will have to narrow it about 4". 80-82' is best bet for Model A's I am told. Also, was the rear under cover or out in the weather/ If water got inside you can figure about $1000.00 to re-build. I just passed on one that was too weathered. Good luck
