They cut up a Mercedes SUV to make it wheel chair accessable. I wonder if the thing actually held up the way they sliced and diced the suspension.

Missed it....what did they use to raise and lower it, if anything? I've got jack screws that drop mine, then the sliding door (pass. side) slides back on a motor, and the ramp comes out running off another motor. Electronic Nightmare....good thing it aint a hot rod, and I can drop it at the shop in any event something happens. I cant touch it.

I would hope it holds up seeing as Jesse gave it away to some young guy. Did I hear correctly did that kid crash doing 137 mph on the streets?
Had to admit I did think of Slammin' during the show and wondered if he was watching. No, Grant, we will not build you the same thing, from what I hear you won't even accept T'shirts from caring friends, LOL. J/K

I just figured they were making it for Grant! It'll be on reruns.

I must admit...Jesse personally took design ideas from my ride. Now I'm semi well known...Send all gold chains my way. With luck I'll resemble Mr. T in no time.

Grant, how much do you want to resemble Mr T....??? Not counting the gold chains either!! j/k
Didn't see the show 'cause they've had so many re-re-reruns that I gave up on his sillyness.....I have to admit tho that the idea of making it work and giving it to a disabled young man is really nice.....I just might have to turn it back on...Hmmmm, a Mercedes huh??? Someone infused that gang with some bucks!!! I hope that being an SUV (super ugly vehicle) doesn't go to the drivers head!
