What combination would be better for our '54 Chevy from SRS?

Crate 350 HO Deluxe

Crate ZZ4

B&M Automatic Transmissions (TH-350)

B&M Automatic Transmissions (TH-400)

It depends how much hp and torque you want and how much of a hot rod sound you want your engine to make. Either choice would be good. Being a hp lover, I would opt for the ZZ engine, but that's me not necessarily you. But the ZZ is pricier. The TH-350 would handle either engine equally well. There's no need to go with the beefier TH-400.

I think the 350 HO Deluxe is the best for us. The car will just be a nice cruiser.

Alan, we would be honored to have your business on which ever combination you decide on. If you have any questions, just shoot Dick Z. an email and we'll take care of you.

Well you're asking for opinions, so I'll offer my own.

You can spend a lot of money on power and strength you'll never need or use. Unless you have unlimited budget you can probably find other places to invest the money you save.

Spend the bucks where it will make a difference you care about. YOU care about, not me or someone else, You.
