I bought this Camaro in 1985. It was just a plain stock driver. It had a 327 cu.in. engine, 3 speed standard shift transmission, and 10 bolt rearend. I changed out the transmission to a turbo 350 and my wife raced the car for a few years at our local dragstrip. In 1996 I back-halfed the car, it has a 9" Ford rear end, spool, 4.86 gears, moser axels, ladder bars with adjustible shocks. The transmission is a GM powerglide with pro trans-brake, 8" TCI converter. The engine is a chevy 383 cu.in. with alum. heads. The car has been returned back to the street. This car is a blast to drive.
Update 3-14-2004
October 2003 begain body work for new paint. Went to get a few trim parts for the windshield and ended up getting all new chrome exterior trim and weather stripping along with a RS/SS front grill assembly. The color is Dupont 2003 Prowler Orange. I painted the car in my garage. Finished paint and assembly the first of March 2004.
