Fred Plamer's 1926 Ford T

Owner
Fred

Description
It's titled as a '26 T from Speedway motors and is their "Track T Kit". Put too much time into it correcting problems the worst being that a radiator was not even offered for this car so had to buy a great PRC radiater from SRS..The motor is a 1980 229 cu.in. Chevy V6 with Sanderson sprint style headers, Erson cam, and just threw out the Holley 4 barrel fuel leaker and am installing an Edelbrock 500 cfm on their #2111 intake..The Distributer is a Mallory dual point and about the only aftermarket Dist. that works with and "odd fire" motor(which probably is the reason it sounds like a V8). The steering column is a '86 Mustang tilt with a Grant steering wheel. Shifting and parking brake is handled by Lokar.
The trans is a TH350C and rear is from a '72 Nova with 3:08 gears. The "C" designation on the TH350 denotes it as a lock up converter but the RPM drop is so small, I run it without this option.
Tail lights are '50 Buick Special turned on their sides. The chair rack on the back deck came from a late '80's midsize GM.
Hope to meetsome of ya'll this year especially at the Southwest Nats in OK City!

This is my ride, and I'd like to edit it.
