1938 Ford sedan front sheetmetal, on a 1938 ford cab, chopped, roof removed with a roadster top installed.
In reality, it's a work in process, but now I have a goal to work to. We took a 1984 stock S-10 chassis and modified it, by removing the bump out area at the front cab mounts and fabricating new straight frame rails and stretching them 4" to make the wheel base work out to 112". I have traded the rear leaf springs and shocks for a 4 bar triangular setup with Koni coilover shocks. Up front we powder coated tubular contol arms with 2" drop spindels and 2" dropped springs. The chassis now sports a 350 SBC with a 400 turbo transmission and a Trans am rear with 4 way disc brakes and a halibrand look alike polished rear cover.
Now the body work starts, but the new bed's already fabricated and all the sheetmetal is rust free, wish me luck!
