Allan Henry's 1926 Ford T-BucketOwner
26T
Description
I found this steel body, when I was 15 yeas old, in 1978. It was rusting away in my grandmothers cow pasture. I brought it home and watched it rust some more until 2000. With the help of a buddy, we brought it in to the shop and I started to work on my first street rod. It took 11 month's to build. I fabricated the frame from 2" x 3" steel tubing. The front axel is from a '58 Ford 1/2 ton pickup. I put Chrylstler disk rotors on the spindles, '70 Camaro disk calipers hang on brackets I made. I fabricated the four bar setup on the front. The steering box and column came from the same '58 Ford PU. The rear end has a '68 Camaro 10 bolt with a four link and coil over shocks. The engine is a chevy, 350 cu.in. with a turbo 350 transmission. The radiator is from a '70 Dodge. The radiator cover is made from... bed frame rails (LOL). All work and design on this car, (except for the shinny stuff, transmission, upholstery, engine machine work,) was performed by the owner.
This is my ride, and I'd like to edit it.
